A true leader with vision... "The man of consummate learning and the sage endowed with penetrating wisdom are the two eyes to the body of mankind. God willing, the earth shall never be deprived of these two greatest gifts." ~ Writings of Baha’u’llah
Massive amont of respect for this man. I respect him even more because he WASNT college educated, yet became one of the Top presidents in history. And his detesting slavery, and having the will to allow the 13th amendment to pass, will always have my respect for that. He, is an ideal American.
Abraham Lincoln issued the emancipation proclamation and slavery was over? You fool! Lincoln freed the slaves down South where he had no authority, EXCEPT IN THE 4 SOUTHERN STATES AND 9 PARISHES THAT WERE NOT IN REBELLION! He also did not free the first slave up north.
Gen. John Freemont emancipated all slaves in Missouri in August of 1861.
President Lincoln reinstated slavery and fired Gen. Freemont.
Lincoln was a dictator. Read the book the Real Lincoln by Thomas DiLorenzo for the truth, not fairy tales!
If this mini biography was a Hollywood movie... showing how powerful a woman Mary Todd Lincoln was (1 min), showing images of African Americans looking powerful in non-stereotypical roles (1 min), "humanizing" Lincoln by focusing on his faults (1 min), showing how Lincoln's success had more to do with luck/circumstance/other people (44 seconds), focusing on the good things Lincoln did (10 seconds).

Abraham Lincoln wanted to deport the slaves after freeing them, either back to Africa or somewhere in Central or South America: “I will say then that I am not, nor
ever have been in favor of bringing about in anyway the social and political
equality of the white and black races – that I am not nor ever have been in
favor of making voters or jurors of negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold
office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this
that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I
believe will forever forbid the two races living together on terms of social
and political equality."
Also FYI: The full quotation which is omitted from the inscription at the Jefferson
Memorial: "Nothing is more certainly written in the book of fate than that
these people are to be free. Nor is it less certain that the two races, equally
free, cannot live in the same government. Nature, habit, opinion has drawn
indelible lines of distinction between them."
The Emancipation Proclamation did not free the slaves, all it did was free the southern slaves which in turn would cause them to rebel against their owners and in a sort of way assist the Union in its effort to put The United States back together. It was the 13th amendment that freed the slaves! GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT BIO
What a crock of shit. The only thing more ridiculous than this so-called biography was those in the comments section who actually bought all that crap!
All and all, it was basically what I expected: a deceitful piece of nationalist propaganda designed to further beguile the simpleminded masses of the United States of America.
