If I'm trying to configure a dual-boot for RHEL5 and RHEL7, should I just install RHEL5 first and use the legacy grub. Having a lot of difficulty with grub2 getting this to work. It's not helping that our customer is insisting that they share a boot partition and /home.

On my Debian system I use the command update-grub to generate the grub config file. Can you not use this command on RHEL?

grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
