🔥The Informed Investor: http://bit.ly/TheInformedInvestor1 - I Reveal My $100,000+ Stock Portfolio and Every Trade I Make! 🔥 These are the best ETFs for 2018! I chose these 4 ETFs as the best ETFs for 2018 is because they have produced excellent returns with low volatility. ETFs are a great way to get exposed to many stocks with one security, and they are usually less volatile than picking single stocks. ETFs are the way to go for investors who want to "set it and forget it". (VUG) VANGUARD GROWTH FUND - This is the single largest holding in my own personal portfoli - Give you exposure to 313 US large cap growth companies that are relatively stable - 1 year ROI = 24.27% vs. 17.93% SP 500 - 5 year ROI = 101.57% vs. 89.06% SP 500 - Top 10 Holdings = Apple, Amazon, Facebook, Alphabet (Google), Visa, Home Depot, Coca Cola, Comcast, Philip Morris - VUG holds a good mix of large cap growth companies with a solid 1.18% dividend yield make this a staple in my portfolio. (SPY) SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust - Launched in 1993, this is literally the oldest ETF in existence, and it’s been one of the most solid over the years. - The spider S&P 500 tracks all of the companies contained within...You guessed it… the S&P 500! - 1 year ROI = 18.05% - 5 year ROI = 89.61% - Top 10 holdings are Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, Johnson & Johnson, Berkshire Hathaway, JP Morgan Chase, Exxon, Google, Bank of America - This is for investors who want just a little less volatility than you would get with a growth ETF like VUG - This is a great “set it and forget it" ETF that you just add to monthly (VYM) VANGUARD High Dividend Yield - Dividend-paying stocks tend to perform better, as a group, than non-dividend stocks, and also generally do better during tough economic times. - For investors who want exposure to rock-solid dividend stocks, but don't want the guesswork and risk involved with choosing individual stocks - Invests in 401 stocks that pay higher-than-average dividend yields, and specifically excludes REITs - 1 year ROI = 12.36% - 5 year ROI= 73.34% ARK ETF Trust - The ARK ETF is an actively-managed fund that focuses on companies working in next-generation sectors, like cloud computing and Big Data. It has a nice mixture of recognizable names, as well as lesser-known speculative companies. - BitCoin Investment Trust is the top holding in ARK, and this fund is banking heavily on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. While that may seem like an unnecessarily heavy risk, I believe could possibly pay off handsomely. - 1 year ROI = 85.34% - Since Oct 2014 = 139% - Top 10 holdings: bitcoin investment trust, amazon, athena health, twitter, tesla, 2U inc, netflix, nvidia, google, mercadolibre. Bitcoin and the blockchain are the ultimate disruptors. I have taken a look at all the top dividend ETFs and picked out the 10 best ones! This list is based on dividend payout, expense ratio, exposure, payout rate and commission-free platforms. List includes VYM, SCHD, HDV, DVY, VEA, VWO, QQQC, TDIV, IPAC and VGK. I have picked different kinds of ETFs, so not just broad US ones. A dividend is great and so are ETFs, so this is a strong combination. Investing for all is a project seeking to provide basic information about how and where to invest in stock market. The BEST ETFs for Robinhood Investors 2019? All Robinhood investor invest in these top 6 ETF's on the Robinhood Platform. ETFs (index funds) for Robinhood 2019 is the most popular millennial ETF picks for 2019 on Robinhood App. 6) QQQ Coming in at Number 6 is a very popular ETF in general when it comes to Tech stocks. It's no secret that Robinhood investors are mostly millennial, and it's no secret that millennial love tech stocks. And rightfully so - the QQQ has returned investors almost 100% in the last 5 years, and it gives you exposure to some of the biggest tech names like Apple, Google, Microsoft, and more. This ETF tracks the NASDAQ exchange, minus any financial stocks. So how many investors on Robinhood hold QQQ? 13,950. 5) BOTZ So this was a surprising one to me - but when I break it down and think about it, it does make sense. BOTZ is a Robotics & Artificial Intelligence - again - an ETF that is focused around Tech. But the biggest reason Robinhood investors like to hold BOTZ is for exposure to NVDA, because that is seen as one of the main companies to lead AI and Robotics in the future. And since BOTZ ETF currently trades under $20 a share, vs NVDA at almost $150 a share, it makes sense because many RH investors can't afford the price of NVDA. Looking @ BOTZ performance over the last 5 years, it's returned investors just under 30%. Not that great when compared to QQQ, but not bad either. Keep in mind this is an ETF betting on the future - so these gains may only be realized in 5 years or more. So how many investors on Robinhood hold BOTZ? 16,932. 4) VTI The is one of the most popular Vanguard ETF's for investors, but surprisingly it doesn't make the top 3 here at Robinhood! VTI is an ETF that tracks the "Total US Stock Market" as its name implies - so it gives investors exposure to 3514 total stocks! VTI is known as an ETF for the average investor as a "Set and forget" investment -and over the last 5 years has returned investors 45% - not too shabby! So how many investors on Robinhood hold VTI? 23,546. 3) SPY Coming in at #3 is SPY - which tracks the S&P 500. SPY is a popular ETF for traders, because it's extremely liquid and you can trade options on this as well to amplify your gains. It tracks the S&P, so it has just over 500 stocks, and is another 'set and forget' investment. SPY has returned investors slightly more than the VTI fund we just looked at, coming in at 48% returns in the last 5 years. Again, good returns from a set and forget investment however the Management fees are more compared to VTI. So how many investors on Robinhood hold SPY? 32,749. 2) MJ What do millennial like more than tech stocks? That's right - GREEN stocks! The Alternative Harvest ETF takes the 2nd spot and it is made up of some of the most popular stocks in this sector (Cronos (CRON), Aurora Cannabis (ACB) and Canopy Growth (CGC)). This has returned investors just under 40% - however it's only been on the market since late 2015 - so the sample size is a bit shorter than other ETFs covered. Nonetheless, pretty good returns - but this may be topping the list for most volatile ETF in the top 6. So how many investors on Robinhood hold MJ? 35,862. 1) VOO (Watch the video!) The #1 should come as no surprise to you, especially if you've watched my #1 vanguard ETF video. That's right - VOO is the #1 most popular ETF on Robinhood, and rightfully so. This is known as THE best ETF when it comes to tracking the S&P 500 - with it's dividend and low MER. It has returned investors 49% over the last 5 years, coming in as the 2nd best return on this list, only behind the tech heavy QQQ. So how many investors on Robinhood hold VOO? 40,918. #ETF #IndexFunds #Robinhood #PositiveInvesting 🔴 *VIP Membership Group - 67% OFF!* 🔴 View my portfolio & every single trade I make! 11/9/2017 Webcast: ETFs What you need to know How can you purchase Vanguard ETFs® (exchange-traded funds), and is there a particular time of day when it’s best to buy or sell an ETF? Vanguard investing experts, Josh Hirt and Rich Powers, describe how and when to add ETFs to your portfolio. Important Information All investing is subject to risk, including the possible loss of the money you invest. This webcast is for your educational purposes only. We recommend that you consult a tax or financial advisor about your individual situation. Diversification does not ensure a profit or protect against a loss. Investments in stocks or bonds issued by non-U.S. companies are subject to risks including country/regional risk and currency risk. Vanguard ETF Shares are not redeemable with the issuing Fund other than in very large aggregations worth millions of dollars. Instead, investors must buy and sell Vanguard ETF Shares in the secondary market and hold those shares in a brokerage account. In doing so, the investor may incur brokerage commissions and may pay more than net asset value when buying and receive less than net asset value when selling. For more information about Vanguard funds or Vanguard ETFs, visit https://vgi.vg/2zIetY9 to obtain a prospectus or, if available, a summary prospectus. Be careful buying an ETF based on its past performance, because the future could be as unpredictable as the weather. Instead, consider integrating ETFs into a diversified portfolio, keeping in mind that asset allocation is the top driver of a portfolio's performance. Find a balance of stock and bond ETFs that's right for you, and spread your money across U.S. and international ETFs to diversify even more. Then look for low-cost ETFs so you're not giving up performance to high expense ratios. Important information **You must buy and sell Vanguard ETF Shares through Vanguard Brokerage Services (we offer them commission-free) or through another broker (which may charge commissions). See the Vanguard Brokerage Services commission and fee schedules at https://vgi.vg/2HJm1xu for limits. Vanguard ETF Shares are not redeemable directly with the issuing fund other than in very large aggregations worth millions of dollars. ETFs are subject to market volatility. When buying or selling an ETF, you will pay or receive the current market price, which may be more or less than net asset value.** All investing is subject to risk, including the possible loss of the money you invest. Diversification does not ensure a profit or protect against a loss. Fluctuations in the financial markets and other factors may cause declines in the value of your account. There is no guarantee that any particular asset allocation or mix of funds will meet your investment objectives or provide you with a given level of income. Investments in securities issued by non-U.S. companies are subject to risks including country/regional risk and currency risk. These risks can be especially high in emerging markets. Sector ETFs are subject to sector risks and nondiversification risks, which may result in performance fluctuations that are more extreme than fluctuations in the overall stock market. Bond ETFs are subject to interest rate, inflation, and credit risk. © 2018 The Vanguard Group, Inc. All rights reserved. Vanguard Marketing Corporation, Distributor of the Vanguard Funds.

In this video I'll be going over 2 ETFs that are cannabis related that I think are solid ETFs in the cannabis/ marijuana industry. When investing in marijuana stocks a lot of risk is taken as many of these companies aren't profitable yet and future profitability is based off of whether or not certain laws and policies are passed. I think this is very risky and a much better way to invest in marijuana is to invest in ETFs as they are more diverse and can offer broader options. ETF investing is getting more and more common by the day. Is it for you though? ETFs trade just like a regular stock. They can be easily purchased and sold from your brokerage account. An ETF holds assets such as stocks, commodities, or bonds. Some of the most common ETFs include: SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY) Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO) PowerShares QQQ ETF (QQQ) SPRD Gold ETF (GLD) Why are ETFs so popular? ETFs offer flexibility that mutual funds or individual stocks do not offer. Instead of holding just a few stocks and worrying about how that stock would perform, you could instead hold an ETF and leave it alone for years. Watch this short video and find out my TOP 10 ETF picks and why I like them. 🔔 If you liked this video, become a member: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCR-Dg5wtrxgppk0XyIMSvsQ?view_as=subscriber?sub_confirmation=1 Suggested Videos: 👉🏻 Road to a MILLION dollars https://youtu.be/jwdL1gyieSw 👉🏻 Investing 101 https://youtu.be/wiHeAUY8btU 👉🏻 Learn how to make money using Compound Interest https://youtu.be/YCrs_ucSQ8Y 👉🏻 10 MOST Sustainable Companies in the US (for DIVIDENDS) https://youtu.be/r6qEJTvyFlc

Hi all, thanks for clicking on this video! In this video, I'm going through 3 of the most popular Vanguard ETF funds that you can buy. Since these are ETFs, I recommend buying them directly from a Vanguard brokerage account so that you can save on the trading fees normally associated with ETFs. Since most of the big name investors (including Warren Buffet) say that investing in index funds is CRUCIAL, I highly recommend getting started early with buying into the market. By putting money in these effective ETFs, you're investing in numerous companies and creating a great long term investment portfolio. Here are the three Vanguard ETF funds: 1. Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO) 2. Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF (VTI) 3. Vanguard Total International Stock ETF (VXUS) If you only go with one of these, I would choose VOO or VTI so you get a good base investment in the US economy. As you earn more money, you can start diversifying your portfolio with other types of investments. Thanks for reading and watching! https://goo.gl/QPCkqk - Start earning with binary options like millions of traders do Are you the sort of investor who embraces the buy-and-hold strategy, preferring to do your due diligence up front and then let the returns accumulate over time? If so, index-based exchange-traded funds (ETFs) may be a good vehicle for you. Even Warren Buffett knows it's hard to beat index funds. In fact, he made a point of requesting that 90% of the money he leaves his wife when he dies be invested in an S&P 500 index fund. (See also: Proof That Buy-and-Hold Investing Works.) Of course, you don't have to park all your money in an S&P 500 fund. In fact, most experts recommend some diversification. But as far as long-term investments go, indexed funds are an attractive and typically low-cost choice. (See also: Here's How to Build Wealth Like a Multimillionaire.) If you're doing some portfolio planning for 2017 and beyond, here are a few good bets for ETFs that work for long-term investors. All year-to-date (YTD) performance figures are based on the time period of Jan. 1, 2017, through August 3, 2017. Funds were selected based on a combination of performance and assets under management (AUM). All figures were current as of August 4, 2017. Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF (VTI) Issuer: Vanguard Assets Under Management: $81.96 billion YTD Performance: 11.07% Expense Ratio: 0.04% If you're not sure which index to follow, or you want to hedge your bets across a variety of sectors and market caps, this is the fund for you. As the name implies, the Total Stock Market ETF covers the entire domestic stock market, tracking the CRSP U.S. Total Stock Market Index. VTI is a balanced fund, with a good mix of mid- and small-cap equities in addition to blue chips. The median market cap is about $54 billion. You'll also see good sector diversification among the 3,528 stocks in its basket. VTI is an extremely efficient fund with a low expense ratio, which is perhaps why the fund has raked in nearly $10 billion in new assets since the end of 2016. Performance figures are steady and impressive, with one-year, three-year and five-year average annual returns of 17.29%, 10.61% and 15.08%, respectively. (See also: Is VTI The Best Index Fund?) SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY) Issuer: State Street Global Advisors Assets Under Management: $241.82 billion YTD Performance: 11.72% Expense Ratio: 0.09% This is the granddaddy of ETFs – the oldest and most easily recognized of the exchange-traded funds. It tops the list in terms of AUM and trading volume, making it appropriate for both tactical traders and buy-and-hold investors. The fund tracks the S&P 500, which is a group of equities from the U.S. large-cap space (although not always the largest) selected by committee. Technically, SPY is a unit investment trust (UIT), which means that the fund can't reinvest cash dividends between distributions, a minor detail that may slightly affect performance compared with the index. Regardless, this fund has respectable one-year, three-year and five-year performance fig

Let’s talk the best ETF’s for 2018/2019. ETF’s are a great way to enter or exist in the stock market no matter what level of investing you are. ETF’s help diversify your risk and they are very low cost compared to mutual funds. In this video I’m going to further elaborate on the best ETF’s for 2018. Obviously, there are a lot of ETF’s out there to invest in but I’m going to show you guy’s some that stood out to me as an investor. Below are my 3 best ETF’s for 2018... *1st ETF = Vanguard S & P 500 ETF: * This ETF follows the 500 extremely large companies on the NYSE or NASDAQ. It is known to be an index that is close to identical to the United States market, so if you invest in this fund you can expect returns pretty similar to the U.S market. *2nd ETF = SPDR S & P 600 small cap ETF: * This ETF tracks small cap stocks in the United States. It’s got years of history in which it beats the U.S. market. Although this stock comes with potential for higher returns compared to the 1st ETF, it also comes with more capacity for volatility and risk. *3rd ETF = Horizons Marijuana Life Sciences Index ETF: * Now this ETF comes with a lot more potential for both high returns and also high risk. This stock banks on the marijuana industry thriving in Canada but also the U.S. and Great Britain as well. Hope you enjoyed the video on my best ETF’s for 2018. Cheers guys! You like dividend checks. However, you are unsure whether you should pursue individual dividend-paying stocks or dividend-focused ETFs (exchange traded funds). Today's video, a response to a subscriber question, compares and contrasts individual dividend growth stocks versus dividend mutual funds (ETFs), through my personal lens. While I cannot answer this question for others, I can share my personal pros and cons when I compare the two, and how I decided to proceed in my personal stock portfolio. Specifically, I cover: * Two specific ETF (exchange traded fund) examples from a major ETF mutual fund family. * Why starting yields may be a bit too low with ETFs. * Why I love the control that individual, dividend stocks offer. (And, their lack of ongoing fees is nice too.) * How one can derive more value (when stocks are "on sale") via individual stocks versus mutual funds (which offer a basket of stocks). This is a critical point. The stock market, in my opinion, is not efficient. By holding individual dividend stocks, I get to buy bargains all the time. * When ETFs and mutual funds may make sense (namely retirement accounts where individual stocks are not an option, or those that have smaller portfolios without the prospect of large-scale growth). * How I hope and dream that everyone watching has a million dollar (or more) dividend stock portfolio, one that pays massive cash flow. Today's video is a bit contrarian, and that's ok. My goal is one of early financial freedom and massive passive income. Since my goals are a bit unconventional, my personal finance strategy has been a bit unconventional too. Are you considering an investment in REITs (or Real Estate Investment Trusts) for dividends and cash flow? I personally own only one REIT in my dividend portfolio and consider my REIT an ancillary (non-core) position. That being said, I am in a unique situation because I work in the real estate industry and own a home (I am already over-weighted, at a high level, in the real estate industry). A subscriber question, today's video goes into a multitude of pros, cons, and factors to consider about investing in real estate investment trusts for dividend income. * Do you work in the real estate industry? Do you already own a home? Do you own physical real estate investments? If so, those are all factors worth considering when contemplating REITs for one’s dividend portfolio. When looking at diversification, I don't only look at my portfolio. I look at all factors in my life. If the real estate industry tanks, I don't want to get hit on the job front, the home front, and the portfolio front all at once! * Real estate investment trusts carry important tax considerations. As pass through entities, they avoid double taxation (and are required to distribute most of their earnings). That said, the shareowner has to pay ordinary income on dividends (as compared to long term capital gains on qualified dividends of most corporations). Long story short, the tax rate on dividends from REITs is higher than your typical dividend-paying corporation. Moreover, reporting REIT dividends on one's tax return can be complicated (the distributions sometimes involve ordinary income and return of capital). Learn why it's important to weigh tax considerations when investing in real estate investment trusts for dividends and cash flow. * Since some REITs pay dividends on a monthly basis, they can help you stay in the game. Those monthly dividend checks are great for reinvesting and building one’s portfolio. A subscriber insight, I really love this idea! * Interest rates are really low right now. As interest rates rise, some REITs may face challenges securing (affordable) capital to do deals. This could affect short-term and future prospects. * The retail industry is going through a lot of change. When investing in REITs, it's a wise idea to understand exposure to retail. * Sometimes, one can experience superior results by investing in real estate directly. It may be more effective to invest in rental properties than going the REIT route. That said, real estate investment trusts are easier since one does not have to actively manage the real estate assets.
