Abhijit Bhaduri works as the Chief Learning Officer for the Wipro group. He lives in Bangalore, India. Prior to this he led HR teams at Microsoft, PepsiCo, Colgate and Tata Steel and worked in India, SE Asia and US.
A man of many interests, Abhijit has illustrated several books and is an accomplished cartoonist. He loves theatre and has acted in plays staged in India, Kuala Lumpur and US. While in US he hosted a popular radio show Movie Magic, about classic Hindi movies and film music. Even in India, he was a popular voice on All India Radio where he read the news in English and acted in a number of radio plays and hosted music based shows.
Mediocre But Arrogant was his debut novel. Set against the backdrop of a fictitious business school in the steel city of Jamshedpur, India. This is a story of how the two years of doing an MBA transforms the protagonist Abbeys life, perspective and relationships. Mediocre But Arrogant has featured in several best seller lists in India
His second novel titled Married But Available published by Harper Collins follows the life of the protagonist Abbey through the first ten years of his life as a Human Resources professional which are arguably the most action packed years of ones life. This is when most people get raises, get their promotions or change jobs, some get married, have kids, get divorced, fall in love and out of it and confront existential dilemmas. This novel has already been on several best seller lists and continues to engage readers and critics alike.
