Property Investment Obsessions Ruining Lives! 😖
Property investment obsessions is running at its all time HIGH in Malaysia. Malaysia has topped the list as the most property-obsessed country in Southeast Asia. Globally, the country is fourth, behind UAE, USA and Taiwan. The findings were derived from an online survey by HSBC, which find that Malaysians spend an average 4.37 hours viewing properties, way longer than working out at the gym (1 hour), reading books (1.95 hours) or reading/watching the news (2.27 hours). Among them, more than a quarter (26%) of Malaysians are extreme property addicts who spend between seven and nine hours searching for properties online, with about one in five (19%) of them spending more than 10 hours reading property magazines. It's MADNESS! But that's not all. The more dangerous part is that when these property investment addicts start to use risky methods like loan compression (aka multiple loan submission strategy) just to get an edge in acquiring multiple real estate properties. This is fueled by property gurus who work with property developers to offer to their property investment club members, offering them ridiculous cash rebate (cash back) that tempts aspiring property investors to buy multiple units of properties beyond what they can afford. So when the sale is done, property buyers found themselves stuck - cash rebates are depleted, untenanted properties and later go into bankruptcy when they default on their mortgage repayments. People thought no-money-down property investing game is easy, but truly, there's no free lunches in the world. Property investment is really not for beginners. We beg to differ. If you really want to invest in real estate property today, there's easier and less risky way to do it. The Relationship Between Corporate Fraud and Investor Optimism
If there's a phrase that captures the essence of the mid- to late-1990s business world, it's "irrational exuberance." Those words, uttered by former Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan in a 1996 speech, sum up the period, which was initially marked by record-setting IPOs, stock option payouts, and rampant investor speculation. The inevitable post-bubble hangover saw federal regulators uncover numerous cases of large-scale corporate fraud. That era serves as the backdrop for research by Carlson School of Management Professors Tracy Yue Wang and Andrew Winton with Indiana University's Xiaoyun Yu on the relationship between investor beliefs about industry business conditions and the prevalence of corporate financial fraud. They used a sample of U.S. firms that filed IPOs between 1995 and 2005 to explore the issue. Learn more at http://www.carlsonschool.umn.edu/faculty-research.

Financing the Energy Transition: Understanding Green Bonds
Investment in green bonds – bonds that fund projects with explicit environmental objectives – has taken off over the past five years and is seen as a powerful vehicle for financing the energy transition and climate policy objectives. While still minuscule compared to debt capital markets at large, according to the Climate Bonds Initiative 2017 saw roughly $155 billion in green bonds issued, compared to $87 billion in 2016 and less than $5 billion just five years prior. The vast majority of green bonds issued support investment in projects directly or indirectly related to energy, including renewable energy, energy-efficient buildings and alternative transport. While the United States remains the biggest single source of issuance, issuers represented a total of 37 countries in 2017, including a number of emerging markets, most notably China and India. As a young and rapidly growing market, there is still work to be done is making sure that issuance keeps up with investor demand -- and vice versa. There is even standardization yet to be done around the very definition of what makes a bond "green." For governments keen on meeting Paris objectives, there is a role for policymakers to play in creating a regulatory landscape that incentivizes instruments that make capital available for carbon-reducing projects. Join the Center on Global Energy Policy as we bring together the perspectives of both the issuer and the investor. Olivia A. Albrecht, Senior Vice President at PIMCO, Christopher Flensborg, Head of Climate and Sustainable Finance at SEB, and Guillaume Pichard, Director, Capital Markets at Ministère des Finances du Québec will join a panel moderated by Katherine Spector, CGEP Research Scholar, as we seek to understand where issuers and investors see the biggest challenges and opportunities in green bonds, and how they gauge the metrics for success in this emergent asset class.

Was waren die Gründe dafür? - Was müsste passieren, damit ein großes Minenunternehmen an diesem Projekt interessiert wäre ? ... Ocwen Loan Servicing, Ronald M Faris, HSBC Bank Violating 2013 Court Order
My loan number is 5410873. I was under a repayment which was cancelled by Ocwen on November 11, 2016. Ocwen is rejecting my payments. I called Ocwen and I have now spoken with multiple agents who have done nothing but demand I send in thousands immediately or else they won't work with me to help me keep my home. I found out my investor is HSBC Bank USA Trust at 8 40th Street New York, NY. It's a trust so the investor really won't help. The first agent lied to me about what my alternatives were. The second agent gave me completely different information than the first agent. I've contacted the Ombudsman repeatedly and they have refused to escalate my call. The indian agents have been incentivized in high pressure collection tactics. They dangle the threat of foreclosure over your head, demand unreasonable, inflated sums up front without regard to your ability to pay or your income, and they mislead customers about what options may be available for us. I"m pretty sure they get financial incentives to bring in as much money as possible by doubling monthly payments. The first agent I spoke to yesterday kept trying to coerce me into saying my monthly income was higher than what it was to inflate my monthly payments. He intentionally left off that I could qualify for a long term repayment, only choosing to tell me this info after I said I would contact my investor. The second agent completely disregarded what the first agent said and told me Ocwen had yet again 'changed its policies' and the only thing they could do was give me seven days to pay the account current. How does Ocwen's policies change from Day to Day? I have tried in vain now to reach my relationship manager Chirag Agarwal. He has NEVER contacted me and NEVER been available. I have requested to speak with a manager NUMEROUS times and I've been sent to the Ombudsman Office where I can only speak with lower level agents who won't transfer me. The Housing market has now improved and Ocwen is simply REFUSING to help me stay in my home. This is a ruthless company. Ocwen has thrown many people out of their homes without assisting them and in the 2013 court order the court found that Ocwen was financially profiting from Foreclosures through unethical side agreements. Ocwen had no incentive to help people keep their home. They are now trying to take my home. I was told a man in the Ombudsman office by the name of Jyoti Dubey, manager Pinky Mewada were in receipt of my constant emails begging for help. Yet NEITHER of these people have EVER reached out to me.

P Note kya hota hai? What is participatory note.
Participatory note ya P-note kya hota hai? Iska share market ya black money se kya relation hai? Seedhe shabdo me kahe to P-Note black money Ko white money me convert karne ka ek jariya hai. More technically P-note ek instrument hai jiske through koi bhi foreign se bina pan card ke/ya Bina kyc ke, SEBI registered FII jinke paas PAN card hota hai, unke through indian share market mein invest kar sakte hain indirectly. Aap ne Swiss bank ke bare me to Suna he hoga. India me bade bade fraudsters ne apna money Swiss bank mein Jama karwa Rakha hai. Aur ye paise lenden ya taxation mein use nahi hota hai isiliye ise black money kaha jata hai. Ye kiske paas kitna hota hai pata nahi hai. Ab suppose ek fraudsters jo India me rahta hai usne illegal tarike se bahut paisa banaya hai aur usme tax/kanooni karwayi se bachne ke liye money laundering ke jariye Swiss bank ya any other US Bank like HSBC ya HDFC bank me Jama karwa diya. Kuchh samay Baad wo fraudster Ko us paise ki jaroorat Hoti hai ya us paise se aur paisa banana chahta hai. Lekin wo paise uske paas Kahan se aaye wo govt Ko batane ke liye kuchh nahi hai. Aur iss foreign money Ko India mein lane ke liye ya Yun kahen white money banane ke liye he iss P-note ya participatory note ka use hota hai. Uss fraudster ne Jo paisa Swiss bank ya any other US bank, jaise HSBC ya Morgan Stanley jaise brokers ke paisa Jama karwaya tha uske badle me ye banks ya FII hamare Nifty/Sensex me share/derivatives khareedta hai. Aur uske equivalent amount ka P-Note uss fraudester investor Ko deta hai. Ab chunki ye P-Note legal hai to koi bhi ise RBI me Jama kara sakta hai aur RBI Bina kisi enquiry ke, P-Note ke equivalent amount uske account me transfer kar deta hai aur iss tarah se ye Money white hokar main stream me circulate ho jata hai. Ab sawal ye aata hai ki isse band kyon nahi ja Raha hai. Ek reason ye hai ki indian stock market me iska investment amount itna jyada hai ki market collapse ho sakta hai. Lekin, Modi government ne P-Note usage Ko thoda tight karna shuru kar diya hai isiliye FII se investment aana thoda Kam huwa hai. #ShareMarketTools and screeners.#PNote

How do I find strategic partners as investors?
David Gurle, Founder and CEO of Symphony explain how they got their potential customers to become their investors. Before founding Perzo/Symphony, David was VP and GM of Skype’s Enterprise Business. David defined Microsoft’s unified communications strategy (Lync) and as head of collaboration services at Thomson Reuters introduced federated communications to the financial services industry. Symphony has raised $229 millions in funding and have all the major financial institutions as investors such as Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, HSBC, BNP Paribas, Societe Generale and more. Transcript: How do I find strategic partners as investors? That's a tricky question, it's not easy. Obviously, as you are building a company you have your product idea and the idea becomes the product itself and eventually goes to market. As you take your product to market, you have to scout for companies for which that product has a strategic value other than just a commercial asset, and the strategic value will have to be part of their value chain. In such a way that if they embrace this idea or this product, it is going to make a significant impact on their either bottom line or their top line. Once you had that much, then you found a potential customer, partner, investor. It takes time to build this relationship and it takes also time to go to the right people in that company, especially for companies that are large. It takes between 3 months to 12 months to arrive at something like that and then you build iteratively. As you build up your relationship with those partners, you open the idea that it might be to their benefit, if they were part of the investment as well as being your customer because they will not only benefit from the product but they will benefit from the outside that they are going to create by being a customer of the company and potentially benefit from a nice exit.
