SALE TODAY: Learn Piano on iOS http://bit.ly/PianoAppSale In this video, Mahalo expert Justin Z. briefly explains how to adjust the Image Size options in Photoshop. About Image Size Options --------------------------------------------------------------------- The size of your image will determine how large it is. It may sound obvious, but it's important to understand how image sizing works and how to make changes. For instance, you may be working with a picture that is too big for internet use, and the file size itself is too large to email. You can make it both smaller in size and shape without losing noticeable quality. Using Image Size Options --------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Go to Image -- Image Size in the top menu bar. This will open a new dialogue box showing you the dimensions and size of your image. 2. At the very top of this box is the size of the file (34.8M in the picture below). 3. Pixel Dimensions allows you to change the size of the image by pixel count or by percentage. Percentage is the easiest, but Pixels is more precise. 4. You will notice to the right of these choices is a small Chain Link. This keeps the proportions of your image intact. You can turn this off, but you run the risk of warping it. 5. Document Size refers to the physical width and height of your image. You have multiple choices regarding how to change this, which include inches, centimeters, picas, points and columns. 6. Resolution will determine the picture quality of your image. You can switch between pixels per inch or pixels per centimeter. 7. The check boxes below make it so you have less to worry about when it comes to image changes. 1. 8. Scale Styles will keep the effect constrained. 2. 9. Constrain Proportions will keep the image itself scaled properly. 3. 10. Resample Image will make changes to your image quality. 11. On the right is the Auto button, which allows for quick image quality changes. 12. When you are done you can press OK or Cancel and the changes you made will either take effect or not. In this video, you will learn how to insert an image in a cell in Google Sheets. Normally, the way people insert an image in a cell in Google Sheets is by going to Insert and using the Image option. The issue with this method is that it treats the image as an object and hence it doesn’t move or size with the cells. If you delete the cell which has the image, the image won't get deleted. Similarly, if you resize the cells, the image wouldn’t resize. You can use the IMAGE function in Google Sheets to insert an image using the URL. This function would fetch the image from the web (using the URL) and place it in the cell where the IMAGE function is used. Now, when you resize the cell, or hide it, or delete it, the image would also do the same. IMAGE function takes four arguments: =IMAGE(url, [mode], [height], [width]) -- url – this is the URL of the image that you want to enter in the cell -- [mode] – this is an optional argument and determines how the image gets fit in the cell. There are four numbers that you can use here ---- 1 resizes the image to fit inside the cell, maintaining aspect ratio. If you leave the mode argument empty, it takes 1 as default. ----- 2 stretches or compresses the image to fit inside the cell, ignoring aspect ratio. ----- 3 leaves the image at the original size, which may cause cropping. ---- 4 allows the specification of a custom size. -- [height] – if you select 4 as the mode argument, then you can use this argument to specify the height of the image in pixels. -- [width] – if you select 4 as the mode argument, then you can use this argument to specify the width of the image in pixels. Updated version of this video https://youtu.be/etAW892xONw When dragging and dropping images into a word document I used to format each individual one to the correct size and position. When continuing to type these images would become distorted, disappear, or be cut in half across the page...extremely frustrating... However.... This videos shows you how to drag and drop images into a word document without the images exploding across the page and nudging all your typing where you don't want it. This method allows you to easily control the size of the images particularly when inserting a number of images into one document. Purchase Microsoft Office for PC here - https://amzn.to/2L4FM7K I may earn a small commission from my endorsements, recommendations, testimonials and/or link to any products or services from this website. First, insert a table from the ‘table’ icon in the ‘INSERT’ tab. Your table can contain as many rows and columns as you want, but remember this will dictate how many images will be displayed on your page. At this stage you can adjust the margins if you need the images closer to the edge of your page. If your table doesn’t adjust to the margin change, just delete it and re-insert it (that’s why you should do it at this stage). It’s now time to adjust the size of your table cells to fit your images into. Select the table by clicking and dragging your cursor across the whole table or clicking the square at the top left corner of the table. In TABLE TOOL under the ‘Layout’ tab you will see the width and height boxes and it’s here you can enter your chosen sizes. You will need to play around with these measurements to suit your requirements. Once you have created the perfect table to insert images you can now remove the borders and only leave a faint dotted line that won’t appear when printed or saved as a PDF. To achieve this highlight the table as before and in the HOME tab click on ‘borders’ and a drop down menu will appear with border options, click on ‘no borders’. If your border completely disappear click on the same border tab again and go to the bottom and click on ‘show gridlines’. You should now see a faint border lines. Now this is where the crucial part takes place. You have to tell Word NOT TO MOVE THE TABLE BORDERS AND SET THEM IN STONE….RIGID….WITHOUT MOVING. Highlight the table once again, go to TALE TOOLS – LAYOUT and click on ‘Autofit’ and simply click on ‘fixed column width’. This will fix the width of your columns, but WAIT, we’re not finished just yet, we have to fix the height in place. To do this we need to once again make sure the table is highlighted and right click anywhere on the table. A drop-down menu will now appear, scroll down to TABLE PROPERTIES, you will now see a dialogue box, click on the ‘columns’ tab and where is says ‘row height is’ and a dialogue box saying ‘at least’, click on the down arrow to the right and you should see the option to click ‘exactly’ (this is the little magic button). Click on this option and click OK. Your table is now pinned in place and the cells are not going to budge when you insert your images. It’s not time to insert those images. Simply drag and drop your images into the word document. Drop the images one at a time into each cell and they will automatically resize to fit the cell. If you find the image is too small you will have to crop the image to fit the dimensions of your cells. In order to CENTRE your images you simply highlight the table and check the ‘centre’ icon under the HOME table. Is it looking good? I you need to split your table so you can insert some text or simply separate the rows, click on the row BELOW the split, go to TABLE TOOLS – LAYOUT and the click on ‘split table’. EASY!! Before I discovered this method of dragging and dropping images into word I was spending endless hours trying to correct the images, the sizes and where they landed on the page. To say I was frustrated was an understatement. It was part of my business, so giving up so much time to formatting documents meant my income per hour was dwindling and the bigger the project the more time I spent. Once I figured out this method it was such a relief, in fact I think I may have jumped for joy!!! I then made template for my projects with formatted tables ready to go.

In this video, you will learn how to make the most of Google image search. Google image search is a powerful yet underutilized search feature, with a variety of options to improve your productivity. Let's get started! To go to Google image search, type images.google.com into your browser. Let's search for "Cat". Click the "Tools" option to bring up the "Tools" set up of sub-options. Now to search only for large sized images, select "Large" from the drop-down option. Now when you hover the mouse over the image you see that the results are "Large in size" by looking at the image dimensions. Similarly you can search for medium and icon sized images. If you want to search for images of a particular size, for e.g. 32x32, select "Exactly" and enter the values into the Width and Height. In this case 32 pixels wide and 32 pixels high. Now if wish to search for photos that are predominantly of a certain color, just select the color option. For example if I want to search Wallpaper images that have a Blue hue to it, all I need to do is search for "Wallpaper" and select "Blue". I can also filter my search results to include certain type of images like Clip Art, Photos, Animations etc. For example to search for Cat images that are "Clip Arts", select "Clip Art" from the drop down. Or to search Animated images (like Gif files), select "Animated" and you get all kinds of interesting results!. You can also filter search to return results from a certain date range. Here is a really helpful tip. When you want to search for royatly free images to be used in a commercial project, select "Labeled for reuse with modification" under "Usage Rights". Another Bonus tip. You can also filter by File type like Gif, PNG etc. For example, If you want to search for "Cat" images with transparent background type "Cat transparent background" and filetype:png (since PNG and Gif images retain transparency information) and there you go! ****************** I hope you liked this video and found it helpful. This Adobe Photoshop tutorial will be focusing on how you can resize images in this software. Don't forget to check out our site http://howtech.tv/ for more free how-to videos! http://youtube.com/ithowtovids - our feed http://www.facebook.com/howtechtv - join us on facebook https://plus.google.com/103440382717658277879 - our group in Google+ Resizing an image is one of the most widely used options of Photoshop. Even people with no prior design or Photoshop background use this tool, which shows how easy it is to resize an image. Step # 1 -- Select the 'Image Size' option Once you have opened up the image you want to resize, simply go on the "Image" menu at the top left of your page and select the 'Image Size' option. You can also press 'ctrl+alt+I', which opens up the resizing image box. Step # 2 -- Uncheck the 'Resample Image' option The dialogue box that now appears is also used to resample an image. If you only want to resize the image then uncheck the option of 'resample image'. Step # 3 -- Alter the document size Once you have unchecked the 'Resample Image' option then the top box for specifying pixel dimensions becomes inaccessible. The option available is 'Document Size'. In that you can specify the unit in which you wish to resize from the drop down options given in front of width and height. Enter the dimensions as 4x6 inches and once you do that the resolution automatically adjusts according to the size dimensions you entered. When you come back on the main screen you will not be able to see the change in size as that is visible if you resample the image even though it has been resized. Step # 4 -- Select the 'Resample Image' option If you check the 'Resample Image' option then the top box of specifying 'Pixel Dimensions' becomes available to use. Change the width to '3' and the height automatically changes to '2' inches. If you notice that by changing the width and height, the pixel dimensions change, this is because we activated the 'Resample Image' option. Now the image size is 2.01mb which was 8.4mb before. Now when you press 'ok' you'll notice that this time the picture actually gets shrunk on the screen as well. Step # 5 -- Resize images manually There is another way to resize images. Select an image by clicking on its layer; transform it by pressing "ctrl + t". With this option resizing an image can be done manually without entering specific dimensions. In order to increase the width and the height of the image proportionately hold the 'shift' key while dragging the picture. Step # 6 -- Alter the position of the image By learning how to resize an image from this Adobe Photoshop tutorial you can even make a picture collage by making all your pictures of different sizes and changing their positions. Simply rotate the image as per your wish. This particular way of resizing an image comes in very handy when you are working with multiple documents and cannot take out time to resize every single image you are working on.

Video Description: http://www.someshr.com The Reverse Image Search option in Google Images can help you quickly discover related images from around the web. Upload a photograph from your mobile device to Google Images and it will show you similar images used on other websites and also different sizes of the same photo almost instantly. Journalists can use the reverse search option to find the original source of an image and also know about the approximate date when the picture was first published on the Internet. Photographers can use ‘search by image’ feature to know about other websites that are using their photographs. Even you can use Reverse Image Search to find whether the Image shared by any persons from chat applications are real or fake by uploading that image to google and check whether it is taken from Internet or not. Thus, if a friend has sent you an image on WhatsApp or Facebook that you’d like to verify, you’ll have to first transfer the photograph to a desktop in order to perform a reverse search. Too much work, right? In order to make it simple, Open the Chrome browser on Android and under settings, choose “Request Desktop Site.” Now open images.google.com and you should see the Camera icon to upload an image for searching. The Replace image feature provides the ability to replace an image in a document, presentation, or drawing with a different one without changing the general size, layout, and properties applied to the original image. This is useful for replacing images in templates. The Reset image feature provides the ability to reset the properties and formatting of an image in Google Docs, Slides, and Drawings after edits have been made to it. This is useful for restarting an image editing attempt if unhappy with the first try.

Google recently removed the VIEW IMAGE button from their Image Search. This video will quickly show you how to still save the image without delving into website code. When you search for an image in Google Images, you used to be able to click a View Image button. But due to several companies not agreeing with this feature, Google has taken it away. This means now you can view the image direct from the original website. This fix is so simple, you'll be able to save the image with a very quick method that should work for even transparent PNG Images! 💛 Get your FREE 30 day trial to Amazon PRIME http://amzn.to/2wo6ME7 ----- 👁️🗨️ What to Watch NEXT in 2018? 👁️🗨️ 1️⃣ Kodi VPN Raspberry Pi Tutorial https://youtu.be/Tj1NDMraAkA 2️⃣ Top 5 H4N Pro Upgrades https://youtu.be/7GYbp79JWw4 3️⃣ Windows 10 on Synology NAS https://youtu.be/aNvDwPTN-qQ 4️⃣ Watch Annihilation on Netflix USA https://youtu.be/gAL3v5uNH2E 5️⃣ MX10 Android TV Box Review https://youtu.be/rpFElrN7ExQ ----- 🕛 NEW YouTube videos every Monday and Friday🕛 ----- 💯 Support TechWizTime 💯 💗 Patreon https://www.patreon.com/TechWizTime 💗 PayPal Donations https://www.paypal.me/TechWizTime ----- 💬 Follow TechWizTime 💬 🔔 YouTube https://techwiztime.com/subscribe 🔔 Facebook https://www.facebook.com/TechWizTime 🔔 Twitter https://twitter.com/TechWizTime 🔔 Instagram https://www.instagram.com/TechWizTime 🔔 Website https://techwiztime.com ----- 💟 Affiliate & Sponsor Links 💟 🈹 Amazon US ► http://amzn.to/2lglusP 🈹 Amazon UK ► http://amzn.to/2x2V6qU 🈹 Gearbest ► https://techwiztime.com/gearbest 🈹 PIA VPN ► https://techwiztime.com/vpn 🈹 NordVPN ► https://nordvpn.com/techwiztime 🈹 TubeBuddy ► https://www.tubebuddy.com/TechWizTime ----- ⛔Please send business, marketing and sponsorship emails to ⛔ [email protected] ----- TechWizTime is a participant in the in the Amazon Services LLC Associates, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to linking to Amazon.com Video © TechWizTime 2014 - 2018.
