This webinar is about Business Process Management (BPM) - the running and improving of a business via its processes. Mark Monteleone CBAP / PMP, the webinar presenter, defines and provides insight in the use of BPM by answering six questions: * As a business analyst, what should you ask for when joining a business? * What is the difference between managing a business by function vs. process? * Why would you redesign rather than incrementally improve a process? * Why should your process analysis cover a value chain rather than a sub process? * Why should you establish leading and lagging metrics to control a process? * What is the most challenging part of business process management, improving the process or managing the resistance? Besides addressing the above questions, Mark will include a Business Analyst (BA) Quick Reference Checklist for conducting a “process redesign or incremental improvement analysis” plus explanations on various BPM terms and references. ** Eligible for PDUs, CDUs. **

To learn more about SAP Solution Manager, visit us: http://bit.ly/2njGdk8 Efficient testing has been a key tenet when upgrading SAP systems. The cost / effort estimation and unnecessary regression testing are two main challenges that SAP users face when performing an upgrade. Both involve significant business involvement and decisions in terms of cost and the impact it has to business processes whilst performing system upgrades. SAP has responded with solutions to: - Reduce regression test scope to an acceptable level - Organize regression testing and automate major and minor releases - Provide scope and effort estimates before a physical install To reduce test scope as well as drive testing efficiency, SAP Solution Manager 7.2 Test Suite includes 2 applications for Change Impact Analysis: Business Process Change Analyzer (BPCA) and Scope and Effort Analyzer (SEA). Both applications provide the functionality to analyze the impact of software changes on your SAP business processes and these change impact analysis tools can automatically determine the test scope for each business process that is affected. The BPCA Test Scope Optimization (TSO) functionality, allows you to further optimize and reduce the required test scope and effort significantly, by program-based optimization.

Logistics and trade industry: Customers expect fast delivery and absolute dependability. Efficiency is paramount here to meet the challenges of increasingly demanding markets. Changeability becomes a critical success factor. All parties involved must work together closely so that this orchestra of logistics, business processes and customer service will interact perfectly. Processes have to be optimized, collaboration has to be organized. Modern software technology helps in this case. The solution is called "Business Process Management". How does this work? Along with the enterprise, the PROMATIS business experts collect business processes in graphical models to begin with. The models are then made available to specific departments utilizing secure Web 2.0 technologies. Social BPM at its best! External business partners can be integrated over the Internet. A networked business community is the result that can now examine the models, expanding and refining them as needed. Everyone must make a contribution to ensure that all aspects of the business process are gathered so that the resulting solution is then accepted and used by everyone involved. Changeability is THE critical success factor for any enterprise today. The business process model must be brought to life for this change to become reality: The transition to the Oracle BPM Suite takes place per generator. The results are directly executable BPMN models within a precise IT architecture. Enterprise-critical processes must work seamlessly with enterprise applications, however. The IT department will ensure that this takes place: They will allow the BPM Suite to securely access SAP applications, data warehouses, document management systems or business-to-business interfaces via Web services. Human workflow, office document integration, email and more? No problem for the Oracle BPM Suite. All personnel involved are integrated into the process by using customized Web portals, allowing them to quickly and easily access or enter information as needed. External business partners can also be securely integrated in this way, of course. For example, this way, an ordered replacement part can be seamlessly tracked from the manufacturer all the way to the time of delivery. And the interesting thing lies in the details: How are processing times put together, where do costs arise, at which points did questions come up? It's particularly in change processes, when monitoring of business activities and the impact analysis of these changes present themselves as a benefit. As an example, one can nicely see how the frequency of queries in the process analysis portal decreases significantly. Using business process management, one can optimize and efficiently control enterprise processes in all areas: Finance, human resources, supply chain, sales, customer service and so on. PROMATIS has implemented business process management solutions in various industries for more than 15 years now, including financial services, the manufacturing industry, for service providers and in trade. Our customers are major enterprises and the upper middle class. PROMATIS stands for intelligent business processes and the use of advanced software technologies. As an Oracle Platinum Partner, PROMATIS relies on efficient standard software products from the market leader Oracle - openness, scalability and sustainability included. Business Process Management helps you - To actively respond to changes in the market - To organize collaboration - To optimize processes - To reduce business risks - To ensure governance and compliance To meet future challenges So that your enterprise will interact perfectly - just like an orchestra.
